Administration

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

I am honoured and blessed to be the principal at St. Michael Catholic High School. This school has a special place in my heart as I began my career here as a teacher in 2003. This school has a rich history of high expectations and standards which I will endeavour to uphold and build upon. Since leaving St. Michael, I have spent the past 11 years of my career as a mathematics consultant, a vice-principal (St. Francis Xavier & St. Thomas Aquinas), and principal (St. Thomas Aquinas). I have had the pleasure of serving students, staff, and the community with the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario for my entire career.

I look forward to working with you and the community at large to give students the best possible high school experience rooted in the teachings of Christ and centered on acceptance, inclusion, and empathy. I will strive to continue the great work that Tracy O’Brien has done and I intend on moving students forward in terms of their achievement, their social and emotional development, and their faith.

I have heard so many great things about our Catholic School Council, Parish, and Student Council. I look forward to working closely with them this year. I am lucky enough to know many of the staff members well and I can confidently say that I have the utmost faith in them to teach your children at the highest standard of education. I am looking forward to beginning this new chapter with you in September.

If you have any questions, please reach out to me directly at: [email protected]

Sincerely,

Danny Palumbo
